1. Who I am
This site is operated by Syed Khurram Quaseem as a personal publication and portfolio. Contact details are on the contact page.
2. What data I collect
If you subscribe to updates or use a contact form, I collect the name, email address, and message content you provide. Server logs record standard request metadata.
3. Why I collect it and my lawful basis
Contact and subscription data are processed to respond to your message and to send the content you asked for. The lawful basis is your consent, and legitimate interest for administrative logs.
4. How long I keep it
Contact messages are kept while the conversation is active and for a reasonable follow-up period after. Subscription records are kept until you unsubscribe. Logs are retained for a short operational window.
5. Who else sees it
Data is stored with the hosting, email, and infrastructure providers used to run this site. No data is sold, and no data is shared with third parties for advertising.
6. Cross-border transfers
Some of the providers used are outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Transfers rely on the mechanisms permitted under the Personal Data Protection Law.
7. Your rights under PDPL
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Requests can be sent to the email address on the contact page.
8. How to complain
If you believe your data has been mishandled, you can raise a complaint with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority. I would appreciate the chance to address it first.
